Sled Sold 2005

Bill purchased this sled brand new from Metro Equipment and logged about 5000 kilometers over approximately nine years of ownership. Many of those early kilometers were spent ice racing, uphill drag racing, logging lots of flight time, and skimming open water!

Bill's Vmax SX was the very first snowmobile I ever rode and inspired me and many of our crew to purchase a sled and truly enjoy the sport back in the early 2000's. This was also the very first sled on which AJ as a young lad was taken for a ride along.

Everyone in the crew always loved the unique and amazing sound of the Yamaha triple 2-stroke, there is nothing else quite like it!

Update: In a crazy turn of fate, in 2021 this sled came up for sale down on the Burin Peninsula. Ronnie headed down, made a deal and brought this wicked unit back into the folds of our crew. It needed a bunch of work, we all pitched in and got the machine trail worthy once again. Check out the rebuild Ronnie's 1997 Vmax.
