In July 2023 my brother Steve and his wife Kailee picked up this beautiful 2008 Argo Avenger 750 8x8 local to them in Yellowknife. They had been searching quite awhile all across Canada looking for the right machine to purchase 2nd hand and stumbled across this great unit right in their own backyard!

Some Pics From the Classifieds Listing:

This machine was immaculately maintained by the previous owner with detailed records which is the most important item when looking at a used Argo. Neglect can lead to very costly repairs and unreliability. It also came fitted out with every necessary accessory including Winch, Brush guard, LED lighting, 18" Argo tracks, canopy, windshield and rear cargo liner. It also came with an Argo snowplow and roll over protection cage not installed.

Since is was summer, it was time to take off the tracks as they would not be necessary for the kind of riding Steve and family would be partaking in this summer. This is also a great time to inspect wheel bearings & seals and service outside grease fittings.

After a good thorough cleaning the machine was looking like new!

A few days later Steve, Kailee and little Benjamin got out for their first Argo Adventure!

In November Steve had the first and only trouble to date, the throttle cable snapped off. A quick fix with some snare wire saved the day and a replacement cable picked up and installed easily the following week.

This is what Argoing is all about. Taking the whole family and every bit of gear imaginable for a very comfortable day in the country!

April 2024: Mini Update! Installed a receiver hitch mounted rear step which is a small upgrade with huge results! Makes getting in and out of the rear compartment much easier!

Cheers, MIKE
