I picked up this Nesco American Harvest vacuum sealer at Outdoor Pros and compared to my old Wal-Mart sealer it works so much better. The lid locks down on two sides to make sealing consistent and much easier, the powerful vacuum removes much more air than my old unit.

I vacuum sealed my entire batch of Moose Snackin' Sticks in no time at all and they are staying fresh and frost free months later.

Freezing fresh fish is something we do quite often as well. We part freeze individual portions on wax paper on cookie sheets, then package and vacuum seal them works great, thaws out better and definitely has a higher quality.
