Princess Auto $12 Skidoo cover

This past fall I picked up one of the skidoo covers Princess Auto put on sale for $12 and like many things I purchase there, I got it because it was cheap. I didn't have much expectation for it's durability considering the price paid.
I am pleased to report that the cover has held up very well!!! My sled has been outside the shed for the last month or so (since I'm working on the bike), and the cover is doing a great job of keeping the snow/freezing rain at bay. I have also used it to cover the sled while towing a couple of times, including a trip to Southern Harbor (near Arnolds Cove) where I expected the wind to shred it to pieces, but it held up great!
Now I did cheat by using a couple bungee cords across the seat, one under the belly, and another across the hood to keep it from billowing and blowing off, but all in all for $12 I was quite pleased. For the cost of having a good cover made I could buy at least 10 of these.
So if your looking for an economical cover for your older sled, this one is certainly better then nothing, one step above a tarpaulin, and works well provided you keep it tight with some bungee cords.
Cheers, Mike
